Dr Brig (R) Iftikhar Mohammad started his career in 1959 and joined Pakistan army in 1962. He served in the Pakistan armed forces for 25 years. He underwent in post graduate training in the UK, where he worked for 5 years and obtained his FRCS in ophthalmology while on leave from Pakistan army. He started practicing in this region during his service in Military Hospital Rawalpindi. After retiring from Pakistan army in 1988 he went into full time private practice.
